Payment Options

Mother of Thousands Midwifery is out of network with Medicaid plans, Healthshares, and private medical insurance policies at this time.  We may refer you to a third party biller if you’d like to know more about whether your Healthshare or insurance carrier allows for reimbursement for out-of-hospital midwifery care. Please see theFAQ tab for more information on health insurance in regards to Mother of Thousands Midwifery.

Cash and check are preferred methods of payment, but electronic payment (Venmo/Cashapp/Zelle) and FSA/HSAs are all accepted forms of payment for services rendered plus 4% credit card fee that is processed by the payment platform.

Payment plans are available throughout prenatal care but must be paid in full by 35 weeks. If one or both partners have vocational skills or services, barter is also a possibility for a portion of the package fee at the discretion of the midwife. Discounts and sliding scales are also available for single parents, immigrants, Medicaid recipients, teen parents, veterans/active military members on a case by case basis.

There is also the option for us to connect you with a third-party medical financing company in the event that a longer payment plan is needed. If your family elects this option, you can choose a payment schedule that fits your budget (anywhere from 24 to 60 months), with one set payment amount throughout. This option includes a convenience fee, which you are responsible for. The fee can either be added onto your loan, or you can pay Mother of Thousands Midwifery directly. APR and the convenience fee will both be based on your credit rating.  Please contact us directly for more information.
