Nicolle was truly more than what we imagined for our first time bringing in a child.. in the best way possible. We wanted an all natural, apothecary vibes, for my pregnancy and labor. She found and gave us all the resources we needed from vegan & natural vitamins/ supplements, pediatrics that have the same belief as, traveled from Orlando area to Daytona for EVERY in home appt and labor, and also being an advocate for us whenever we desired something out of the norm. She stood beside us and supported us through all of our (very educated) choices. We’d love to have her bring in all of our babies. What to say? Nicolle is an amazing midwife!! I initially met her through another great practice of a team of 3 midwives (at the time) for my 3rd pregnancy, and she actually was the first of them that I met in person for my 1st appointment and I instantly liked her!
She is so bubbly, fun, easy to connect with, but she is not only that, she is also truly caring, very knowledgeable and very intuitive as to what any particular client's needs/concerns may be. We built a great relationship during my prenatal care for my 3rd pregnancy and she was the one who actually ended up being on call for my birth (praise God!!) and it was a trusting, calm and peaceful experience.
So...when I found out I was pregnant again 8 months pp (!!!), knowing she had her own practice, I knew I wanted to have her as my midwife and contacted her right away! The amazing thing is all visits are at home which is a game changer and honestly a non-negotiable for a mama of multiple LOs like me. (: AND Nicolle takes her time with you, it's never rushed and I actually was looking forward to every visit we had just because she is such a blessing to have around!
I've had 4 home births at this point, the past 2 being with Nicolle and let me tell you. I still learned so much from her. She truly trusts the birth process (you'd be surprised that it's not a given with all midwives). You certainly won't feel coerced to make any specific choice for any given medical decision that is to be made during pregnancy or after birth as she trusts you as the mom to know what is best for you and baby, which is crucial, all the while being trustworthy and able to lead you the right direction if you need guidance/her opinion. While I am hoping to get a break after this 4th baby (please?? Haha) I know that if I don't, I'm calling Nicolle again! I can confidently say that you won't be disappointed if you entrust your prenatal/birth care to her.
